Our 95 elegant and spacious Superior Rooms can be found in three different wings of the hotel, all offering you views of either the Mahaveli River or our beautifully landscaped gardens. Superior Rooms located on the ground floor open into spacious gardens, ideal for guests with kids or plans for an evening barbeque! Every room comes with basic amenities and is stylishly designed to help you relax and soak in the surrounding calm of the hill country. All 24 Deluxe rooms at the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy are located in the newest wing of the hotel. This means stunning views of the lush landscaped gardens or the Mahaveli river from private balconies. Each of the elegantly styled Deluxe rooms offers the added benefit of more space, a writing desk and a bath tub. If you plan on bringing another friend along, there’s enough space to convert these double rooms into triples with plenty of space for a third bed. If personal space is what you’re looking for, this room is for you.

If you really want to know what it’s like to live as a Kandyan royal, then our luxurious suites are for you. Our two suites offer plenty of living space with prime views of the Mahaweli River and the mountain range beyond. Each suite has two bathrooms - one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The décor is contemporary yet very Kandyan, with tastefully selected art adorning the suite’s walls. It doesn’t matter if you’re a honeymoon couple or a singlelooking for all the privacy you can get, it’s still a great way to enjoy regal Kandyan hospitality at its very finest.

As its name suggests, our main restaurant offers more than just a great meal. You also get a generous helping of breathtaking views of the Mahaweli River and the surrounding mountain range. The restaurant serves food buffet style and offers a variety of dishes including Indian, Thai, Italian, Chinese and French cuisine. There is a health corner, pasta corner, grill corner and salad corner in addition to many other action stations.

You can’t miss the Lounge Bar, located in the centre of the lobby, and you wouldn’t want to. Open to in-house and walk-in guests, this wine & cocktail bar serves a variety of local and international spirits, cocktails and mocktails, along with spectacular views of the terrace and the Mahaweli River. In addition to the lively jazz trio, the bar also hosts special theme evenings such as Jell-O Night, Shot Night, Frozen Night and Bucket Night, all bound to put that extra zing into your celebrations.

The Cafe C is located close to the riverbank on the farther side of our pool. It is an a la carte restaurant that serves a wide range of contemporary fusion cuisine. It’s quiet, cosy and romantic ambience sets the tone for an unforgettable intimate dining experience; perfect for that date night. With a maximum capacity of 60 guests, the Cafe C also makes a great venue for private parties and intimate corporate functions. No matter what the occasion, dining at Cafe C is always a celebration for the taste buds and in fact every other one of your senses.
